As a statement of principle, the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School community believes that the primary responsibility of education lies with the parents and/or guardians of children, and that any successful educational program, therefore, depends upon positive and active cooperation and involvement by the parents and guardians with and in the school. Parent involvement presents a positive role model for students. As registered families of St. Thomas, it is expected that families will be involved on a voluntary basis to provide support services, which will benefit the school community and help offset the deficit between tuition collected and the actual cost of operating the school. Non-participation or failure to complete the required service hours and fundraising commitment will result in alternative terms and conditions for future registrations. It is the responsibility of the parent to record completed service hours.
