Esther Gamache – Mrs. Gamache is a graduate of CSU, Sacramento in Business Administration. After the birth of her twins, she re-evaluated her career and decided to pursue her love of working with children. Mrs. Gamache returned to school and completed her early childhood education certification with honors. She has been a preschool teacher in the Diocese of Sacramento for the last 10 years and is currently serving as the Preschool Director at St. Mel. Esther shares her LOVE of everything preschool with the children! The preschool children look forward to coming to school every day because they cannot wait to see what she has planned for them in the centers, sensory bins, learning tables, circle time, faith-filled modules and outdoor adventures! Your children are truly treated as her treasures. Mrs. Gamache’s goal each day is to foster the LOVE of LEARNING!

Alisia Ocon – Miss Ocon is a graduate from CSU, Sacramento with her B.A. degree in Early Development, Care and Education with a minor in counseling. She is our classroom preschool team teacher and Assistant Director who complements Mrs. Gamache sharing the vision children learn through thoughtful play and mindful learning activities. Alisia has been teaching in the Diocese of Sacramento for four years, including three years at St. Mel Preschool. Miss Ocon is a faith-filled individual who was blessed to grow up in a Catholic family where faith is the cornerstone of their family. She brings an extraordinary amount of patience, creativity, insight, care and compassion to her young students and their families. Her desire to make a difference everyday in the lives of children is demonstrated daily and is contagious!
