Preschool
Welcome to PBVM Preschool! Our staff consists of dedicated individuals who value and cherish teaching children. We follow the K-8 school year calendar.
We understand the diverse needs of families today, and we therefore offer two-, three-, and five-day programs. The Preschool program is from
8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M.,
with an
extended day opportunity from
7:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.
PBVM Preschool provides a safe, loving, educational environment for students who are three to five years old. Our program nurtures each child's cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development. Our mission is to prepare students for kindergarten by giving them a strong foundation in phonics, reading, and math. The curriculum fosters a love of learning by being hands-on, fun, and creative. The students are also provided a strong foundation in our Catholic faith; they pray a decade of the Rosary every day, learn about the lives of the saints, and read Bible stories. The older Preschool students also attend Mass and spend time with Jesus in Adoration once a week.
Our Preschool program is comprised of three classes:
- The “Barnyard Bunch” is for those students who are three years old.
- The Kindergarten Readiness (KR) program is for those students who turn four by September 1. We highly recommend KR students attend three to five days per week in order to prepare them properly for kindergarten.

The “Zoo Crew” class is for young four-year-olds who have late spring/summer birthdays.

The “Super Hero” class is for older four-year-olds and five-year-olds.
